Give Carpal Tunnel A Rest

So, to help relieve the pressure, raise your hand above your head and that will allow the blood to flow freely throughout the hand and the wrist. Watch Your Posture

You can get help from an ergonomic keyboard and using wrist rests with gel pads to help relieve the pressure on your painful wrists. Cool Down

If the affected area has become inflamed and the above methods seem to be not working then you need to cool down the area with an ice pack. This will reduce the pain and swelling in the hand and wrist. Doing a light massage while icing the wrist will relax and loosen the muscles and tendons that are in the affected area.

These conditions could be temporary such as a pregnancy induced condition or if you are overweight try loosing some pounds as this can also help. Just remember, try these remedies first before you ever think about going under the knife. Most people get far better results using the non surgery approach.
