Victorinox, known for their high precision knives have been taking that precision and applying that into a complete line of watches. Their styles of watches have changed over the years and a lot of new models have been added.
There are many models and classes of watches offered by Victorinox. Below are the many classes of watch they offer broken down by function.
Active
Classic
Professional
Limited Editions
Chronograph
Alarm
Titanium
Day/Date
Titanium Chrono
Mechanical
Mechanical Chronograph
There are mainly three categories of Victorinox Swiss Army watches: Active, Classic and Professional.
If you are looking for a particular function in a watch that you want to wear everyday then you might want to look at the active styles. Some selected models can operate up to 330 feet underwater.
People who need to use their watches at night would want to look at the Night Vision styles that use a low power consumption LED module for the dial illumination, signal and the strobe function.
Another great style is the Base Camp models. These are great for avid hikers and they have a rotating compass rose that indicates direction and have great endurance and functionality.
Then there is the Classic series that are a sporty classic look with clean lines and a stylish look. While they are traditional they have very innovative design features.
My favorite category is the one that is targeted towards the high tech people. They consist of the following types:
Divemaster 500
Airboss
Seaplane
ChronoPro
There is a model for every personality and taste and each watch comes with a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty. If you are looking for a watch to wear in the boardroom or hiking on a mountain top to swimming or diving in the ocean, Victorinox has the watch for you.

Victorinox Luggage
It's In The Bag
It's important to most people that their business travel luggage is both stylish and rugged. People like making a style statement and want to ensure that everything they are carrying is safe from their documents to their clothes. Good luggage should be able to handle all of the rough handling associated with traveling through airports or train terminals.
The Victorinox line of luggage has basically 3 different collections to choose from. They are,
Tourbach
Mobilizer NXT
Werks Traveller
The top of the line of these 3 is the Tourbach line. The next level or the mid range is the Mobilizer NXT and entry level is the Werks Traveller. As with most buying decisions it comes down to budget. Most of the sales for these 3 lines fall into the Werks Traveller area, but it should be noted that all 3 lines have a lifetime warranty. Even though the entry level line starts in the $200 range, you will not have to replace it, ever. Most luggage you buy that is cheaper than this you will probably have to replace in time no doubt.
Laptop Cases and Bags
One of the biggest problems with computer travel bags is getting the right capacity that fits your computer. Another one is getting a bag that is going to provide the proper protection and have good enough quality to last a long time. The final decision will depend on a lot of factors and may well be an overwhelming task to choose from so many brands. For sure you will want to stay away from a poorly built bag that could put your devices in harms way.
It should go without saying that Victorinox builds one of the finest laptop bags available.
Once you have chosen the make you need to see how much storage the bag offers besides the laptop compartment. You will need pockets for notebooks and pads, a mouse, power supply, cd's, pens and pencils etc. You then need to look at the protection that the bag offers. Is the padding at a level that it will protect your laptop from being hit by something or dropped? Cheaper bags really skimp in this area. Another concern is protection from liquids. Whether you get caught out in the rain or someone accidentally spills something on your bag you will want a bag that protects your laptop from this.
Choosing a laptop bag is a very important decision and should not be made in haste. You are going to be carrying around a very valuable piece of equipment and spending a little more for the case is a reasonable extra expense.
Victorinox is so protective of their brand that they will only allow a handful of online merchants to sell their travel gear. It is hoped that by pre-screening merchants, it will give you a sense of security knowing that the merchant is approved and working with Victorinox and if there is a problem with the item you know that it will be taken care of quickly.

Who Is Victorinox
Victorinox Products
Known the world over as the creator of the original Swiss Army Knife, the company started out in 1884 as a cutlery workshop by Karl Elsener. By the time he delivered the first of his pocket knives to the Swiss Army his main business in cutlery was booming. The name Victorinox derives from first, his mother’s name, Victoria and inox which stands for stainless steel. Over the next century Victorinox became the top choice with professionals around the world offering over 300 blade style choices.
Victorinox had been in business for 50 years when New York's R.H. Forschner approached the company to be their sole supplier of cutlery. Forschner at the time owned a business that supplied scales for butchers. The two companies joined forces in 1937 and Forschner became the biggest brand in the US. This brand was as big in the meat packing plants as it was in a 4 star restaurant.
As a division of the Victorinox Company, R.H. Forschner marketed their cutlery under the brand name of "R.H. Forschner by Victorinox". This brand was distributed to commercial venues, food service companies and retail trade segments of the industry. The brand has been considered the top choice of food preparation professionals the world over with 300 plus blade styles to choose from bearing this brand. But in 2009, the 125th anniversary of the company, it was decided to remove the Forschner brand from all the blades and keep only the "Victorinox" brand name.
Victorinox is usually known as a multi-function pocket knife manufacturer. You know, the knives that have the scissors, nail file and the tooth pick. But Victorinox also makes a wide range of products that fall into the promotional arena. In fact, a comment that Victorinox gets a lot of is "the most popular and efficient promotional item that we ever had. We would not be without!"
Victorinox products are synonymous with multifunctional and quality and are recognized by people the world over. Victorinox products are identifiable by the cross and shield logo put on the product. Pocket tools can also be identified by the logo imprinted on the shank of the blade. This company’s products collection is based on 125 years of developing, manufacturing and selling the top quality brand products that are "Made in Switzerland."
Some of the products that the company makes are timepieces, from classic designs to rugged chronographs in stainless steel and titanium. Men’s as well woman’s designs can be purchased. Another category is the travel gear division which makes carry-ons, checked bags, business bags, backpacks and wallets. If you have a valuable laptop and need to travel with it then they have the laptop carry bag for you. Victorinox makes one of the finest laptop bags in the industry. If you want your laptop protected and need to carry a lot of items with it then check out the bags offered.
Also on the list is fashion, such as sweaters, shirts, T-shirts, outerwear, blazers, and pants. Only the highest quality materials are used in these products.
